Meet the Therapist

Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) who brings warmth, humor, and self-compassion into her work with clients. She specializes in supporting individuals, children, and families through life’s challenges while helping them build healthier relationships, stronger coping skills, and meaningful healing.

Before becoming a therapist, Alyssa spent 7 years as a foster care caseworker, where she worked closely with families to repair family dynamics, navigate difficult transitions, and create safe and supportive environments for growth. She has also taught parenting classes for the past 6 years, helping families strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build healthy bonds with their children.

In addition to her work with families, Alyssa supports individuals navigating addiction and recovery with empathy, honesty, and practical guidance. Her approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t have to happen without compassion — or a little humor along the way.
